If you consume a blood thinner such as CAFFEINE or SUPPLEMENTS on a daily basis it is crucial to decrease consumption at 2 weeks priorate the appointment and completely avoid consumption of these products 7 days prior to the appointment. We also highly recommend you intake a lot of water starting 2 WEEKS prior to the appointment. This will help regulate your body from all blood thinners.
If you are about to start, currently on, or just finished your cycle, sensitivity is increased and bleeding is more likely to occur during the
procedure due to hormones in your body.
To help reduce possible bruising and swelling, you may take Arnica Supplement for 7 days prior to your appointment and continue until lips heal.
Eating immediately after the procedure will cause inflammation, infections, and low ink retention. Rinse your mouth between meals and drinks, or at least 4 times a day, with an antiseptic mouthwash. This will reduce the risks of infections. Keep your lips moisturized until all dry skin has shed. Exfoliation is not allowed! Picking, pulling, or rubbing off the dry skill will create patchy healed results.
Apply a generous amount of the ointment before eating, drinking, brushing your teeth,
and bedtime. Do not stretch your lips. It is
recommended to eat with small bites. Keep your hands clean and avoid touching your lips until they are done healing. Avoid rubbing your lips. Avoid saline water. It will cause the ink to be shed during healing Do not use any soaps or chemicals on your lips. Be careful when washing your face. No teeth whitening products
Do not eat spicy, oily, acidic, or greasy foods for at least 7 days. Avoid sunlight or tanning beds. Since this is new skin, it's prone to sunburn, which could change the color and cause scarring. Do not smoke or kiss for at least
10 days.

Avoid caffeine immediately before (reduces eye flutter).
Remove contact lenses if possible.
Do not curl lashes prior to your appointment.

Please discontinue using any acne medication such as retinol, tretinion and exfoliating product 5–7 days prior.
Do not wax or excessively exfoliate the area beforehand.
